What to do in Berlin?

Berlin

Why we love Berlin: “Berlin is not Germany, Germany is not Berlin.” This city definitely plays by its own rules and there is always something going on in Berlin! Be curious and explore the city with its many attractions, club culture, many different chic bars and restaurants or beautiful museums. There is an amazing selection of great attractions, restaurants, cafes and activities in Berlin. There is so much to discover! Let’s go!

Food x Coffee

Zeit für Brot:  Germany without bread? Never! In the “Zeit für Brot” bakery lovers get the best bread ever. A wide selection of sweet things and freshly baked rolls and bread. Of course, there is also very good coffee, too. On site you can also watch the production in the glass bakery. There are now several branches in Berlin:

—> Alte Schönhauser Straße 4 (Mitte), Weinbergsweg (Mitte) at Konstanzer Straße 1 (Charlottenburg), Schönhauser Allee 144 (Prenzlauer Berg)

Princess Cheesecake:

Since 2011, Conny Suhr has provided us with small tarts and chocolates that are too good to share. On request and order you can also order vegan, lactose and gluten-free cakes.

—> Princess Cheesecake Tucholskystraße 37, 10117 Berlin

Café Pförtner: Where once BVG buses were serviced, today a pleasant mix of neighborhood, artists and friends of the operators meet to cereal, pasta and salad.

—> Café Pförtner Uferstraße 8-11, 13357 Berlin

Röststätte: The roastery roasts itself coffee. The selection of varieties is small, but fine, the raw coffee comes from Central and South America and Africa.

—> Röststätte Ackerstraße 173, 10115 Berlin

Father Carpenter: From Melbourne to Münzstraße: The boys of Father Carpenter Coffee Brewers serve not only good coffee, but also Australian breakfast. The Father Carpenter is definitely a good spot to take a short or longer breath.

—> Father Carpenter Münzstraße 21, 10178 Berlin

Konnopke’s snack: What would be Berlin without Currywurst and without Konnopke’s snack? Max Konnopke and his wife Charlotte opened their belly shop in 1930 on the corner of Schönhauser Allee, where they sold their sausages at night. In 1960, the family established a snack bar at the present location and brought the Currywurst to East Berlin.

Chill Vibes x Open Air

Mauerpark: Relax in good weather at Mauerpark. Directly on Mauerpark you will find the “Schönwetterbar”. Where once a wall divided the city, today is a small oasis with loungers in the sand, several disco balls that flash in the treetops and a fire bowl, where the guests can move together in the evening. Right next door is the Mauerpark area, which on Sunday also has a flea market with all kinds of things to offer.

—> Schönwetterbar: Bernauer Straße 63, 13355 Berlin

Badeschiff: Sunbathe and dance on the beach of the Badeschiffs. In summer, there are always open airs around the bathing ship, where you can dance in the sand while enjoying an unbeatable view of the Oberbaum Bridge and the TV Tower. If you get too hot from dancing, simply jump into the pool, which is embedded in the Spree river.

—> Badeschiff-Arena: Eichenstraße 4, Berlin

Haubentaucher: The Haubentaucher combines Berlin’s most beautiful swimming pool, an urban sundeck in the style of the Côte d’Azurin of the 60s, a modern event location, a bar, a club and a Garden Lounge.

—> Great Crested Grebe, Revaler Str.99, 10245 Berlin

Party x Dance

Berlin has more bars and clubs than you can imagine. You are spoiled for choice and will find something just perfect for you.

Theaterbar: Dancing x Drink x Chilling & nice vibes: All this is offered by the Theaterbar or The Dance Pavilion at Museum Island. Relax with a beautiful view of the Museum Island!

—> Strandbar Mitte Monbijoustraße 3, 10117 Berlin

Club der Visionäre: Dancing on the boardwalk of the Club of Visionaries.

As you drive over the bridge, you can already see the hustle and bustle at the club of visionaries. In the afternoon, it is super relaxed and you can sit on the boardwalk and dip your feet in the water. When the music gets louder and more people arrive, you dance under the open sky to the finest electro beats.

—> Club of the Visionaries Am Flutgraben 1, 12435

Klunkerkranich: Good prospects on the Klunkerkranich. On the parking deck number 6 of the Neukölln arcades, step into your own world of gardens. In addition to concerts, parties or just for a cup of coffee, the very popular Klunkerkranich offers a beautiful panoramic view over Neukölln and Kreuzberg to the Red Town Hall.

—> Klunkerkranich Karl-Marx-Straße 66, 12043 Berlin

House of Weekend: Above the rooftops Berlin is the House of Weekend in Mitte. The best thing about the club on the 15th floor is the roof terrace with a view of the whole of Berlin, which is regularly open for events and parties during the summer.

—> Weekend Alexanderstrasse 7, 10178 Berlin

For rainy days x chill x wellness

Minigolf: Blacklight Minigolf offers the perfect conditions for drinking, entertaining, and at the same time swinging the golf club loosely. Being an indoor facility, you can play at almost any time of day or night.

—> Blacklight Minigolf Görlitzer Str. 1, 10997 Berlin

Vabali: Pure Wellness. In the middle of the city and surrounded by heavenly peace. Here you can forget everyday life and let your mind wander in this Balinese inspired spa.
