Mentorship FAQs

Below are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions. I hope they will help you with your Mentorship
planning & get to enjoy fully your online learning experience

General info about the Mentorship

Our 2023 Mentorship programs are 4-week online progressive programs where you’re going to dive into a particular topic and each week build your skills and progress thanks to the close work with your instructor.
Some of the Mentorship programs will have a Recap week, where there will be no live class (this week is for consolidation and catch up).
Once the workshops are finished, you will still have some time to receive feedback from your instructor (generally 2 weeks). After that time, you’ll receive a certificate of completion and you can keep on practicing the content when downloading the material from the Mentorship online platform. You can redo the Mentorship in the future whenever it’s more suitable for you.

The dates and times of the Mentorships are shared on the sales pages, on your online Mentorship platform and you’re going to receive multiple reminders in the Telegram group.

The dates of the live workshops of the Mentorships are usually happening during the weekends, in order to make it possible for the majority of people to carve some time to attend live.
The time conversion of the workshops will highly depend on where you are in the world and which Mentorships you’ve joined.

Don’t worry, everything is recorded, and all content is yours to keep forever! As long as you submit your weekly homework on time you’ll gain loads from this program and Indi’s feedback.

We suggest booking some time at your local studio to complete each week’s class or asking around your pole dancing community to see if someone will let you borrow their pole setup!

To get the most out of this comprehensive program we recommend having a laptop or tablet with a strong wifi connection to participate in the weekly Zoom classes and for recording your homework, as well as access to Telegram, a pole to practice on and pole heels.
If, for some reason, you can’t have access to these tools, please let us know.

Some Mentorships might ask you to have some other equipment (eg knee pads), make sure you read all the info before the Mentorship starts or ask your questions to the IPD team.

You’ll receive lifetime access to all content! All the workshop recordings and tutorials are yours to download and keep forever, so you can revisit the lessons at any time.

If you can’t attend the workshops live, it’s not a problem. You’ll access the recordings right after class and can follow them up just like the actual workshops.

In order to benefit the most from the intensive period of a Mentorship program, you might wanna consider setting aside at least 2h or practice per week. With the live workshop time, you’d need around 4h of time commitment each week for the Mentorship.

If you can’t practice or fall behind the program, don’t worry, you’ll have access to the online platform for a very long time and you can download the content and keep it forever.

Clotilde from our IPD team, is the host of the Mentorship programs. You’ll receive complete customer support from her and the rest of the team at Indi Pole. We are here to help. If you should have any questions or technical issues during the program, you can reach her out at: clotilde@indipoledance.com or via Telegram (@Chlotichilda).

If you’re living in a timezone that is not mentioned or you are unsure about the time, please reach out in the Telegram group or privately to your Mentorship host, Clotilde (@Chlotichilda on Telegram).

If you’re experiencing more issues, please contact your host Clotilde at clotilde@indipoledance.com or via private message on Telegram.

All the communications will be held on Telegram. You will contact your instructor privately through the app and send them a private message through Telegram. You can also download Telegram on your desktop. Please do not contact your instructor via Instagram.
You can send them directly your videos through Telegram, or if they are too heavy, you can upload them on Youtube/Vimeo or use Wetransfer.

You can get in touch with your instructor as much as you need to during the time the Mentorship is running. You are not limited to 1 time per week.

Make sure you always check in with your instructor about the challenges you’re having or that you’re missing.
The Mentorship should provide you with a feasible and sustainable level of challenges, teaching you something new or helping you refine your skills and dancing style.

If the program is too challenging or not challenging enough, make sure you communicate with your instructor and with your host about it.

We’re here to help you along your journey of progress.

If life got in your way and you couldn’t follow through as you wish, don’t stress.
Make sure you’re all downloading all the material and you can always rewatch the content whenever you will have time on your device. You will still have access to this platform.

After the Mentorship is over

In each section of the platform, you’ll find a button to the side, with the name of the file(s) you can download in that section. They can be videos or pdfs. You cannot download all the material in one section but have to enter each section separately.

Once the workshops are finished, you will still have some time to receive feedback from your instructor. Generally you’ll be given 2 weeks. Some instructors will be available for a longer time after the Mentorship is over to receive your video and send you feedback. You’ll always know for how long you can reach out to them to receive feedback.

If your instructor forgot to send you the feedback (it might happens sometimes that your message gets lost), please send them a polite reminder or contact your Mentorship host, Clotilde, so she can send to the instructor a reminder for you.

You’re going to have access to your Kajabi platform until the next round of the Mentorship. If not stated anywhere else it will be for a min of 6 months.

If your Certificate has some mistake on it, or you haven’t received it within 3 weeks after the Mentorship is over, please email us at: hello@indipoledance.com or clotilde@indipoledance.com
