FAQ Europe Retreats
Get ready for your Retreat. Below are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions. We hope they will help you with your Retreat planning & get you all set for an amazing time!
General info about the retreat
Yes. Each Retreat will be split into two or three workshop groups, based on levels. This will ensure you get all the attention you need, can work on skills suited to where you are at, and have a pole to yourself!
We will send out a survey prior to the retreat which will ask a few questions about your pole level so we can see what level you are at. If you are attending the Retreat with some friends and want to be in the same group, please mention this in the survey.
We will send this to you in the Retreat Telegram chat about a week before your Retreat.
Please see each Retreat page for an example schedule. Changes are possible.
The check-in in European cities is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am.
Where the schedule permits, yes, we would love for you to have the chance to work one on one with your favourite instructors! Please talk directly with the instructor to arrange this, as as well as the pole studio to arrange a time when the studio will be free. There is enough time to organize this on site or a week before the event.
We will be training at:
Paris: Wild Pole Studio, 8 Bd Saint-Martin, 75010 Paris, France
Please see each Retreat page for package inclusions.
No, flights and airport transfers are additional and at your own expense unless otherwise specified.
It is a policy of our events that you must have health insurance coverage of some sort, either as a citizen/resident, or through travel insurance.
If you are still wondering “Do I need travel insurance for the final destination?” note that insurance is mandatory for you, only if one of the following statements applies to you:
- You need a visa to enter the final destination for short stays. One of the main requirements for a short-stay visa to mostly countries in the EU is a document that proves you have travel insurance that covers the whole territory of Schengen. The document must prove your insurance has minimal coverage of €30,000.
- You will enter the Schengen zone through a member state that wants you to present proof of travel Insurance for entry to Schengen. Several Schengen countries demand travellers to prove they have travel insurance when they show up at their port of entry. You should check if the country through which you plan to enter the Schengen zone has such a requirement.
This depends on the package you have booked. All packages include a welcome & farewell dinner. Solo and shared packages include breakfast & lunch. Please see each Retreat page for details.
Absolutely! We can accommodate all requirements and will ask you about your requirements following booking.
Yes, you will need to arrange your transport to the hotel. You can use local public transport, a taxi or a rental car. Before the weekend starts, we connect all participants in a group so we can share travel options with you.
Where the schedule allows we will have a professional photographer on each Retreat! If you’d like to do a photo shoot, please select this option at checkout if it’s available, as numbers are limited.
